TENINO - Washington Education Association Political Action Committee (WEA-PAC) has endorsed Democrat Jim Cutler for State Representative in Legislative District 20, position 2. WEA-PAC supports candidates who have clearly demonstrated their commitment to children and public education.<br />

Earlier this month, Cutler retired as music teacher at Tenino High School, after a 41 year teaching career, where he dedicated himself to having a positive impact on young people. <br />

"I am pleased that the Washington Education Association has recognized my commitment to children, teachers and schools by endorsing my campaign. I decided to run for State Representative because I, like many in my district, know it's time for change," said candidate Jim Cutler. "Quality education is one of my highest priorities, and we deserve a Representative who puts children and schools first while maintaining fiscal responsibility.”<br />
<br />
The 20th Legislative District is made up of Lewis County and part of Thurston County, including the communities of Bucoda, Lacey, Maytown, Rochester, Tenino and Yelm.</p>
